Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Epic Scale AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Epic Scale AI is operated by Epic Scale Labs, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of Wyoming.
Service Description
Platform Overview
Epic Scale AI Platform is a constraint-driven development platform that provides:
AI Agent Coordination:
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integration
- Coordination between AI development tools (Cline, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
- Constraint intelligence and pattern sharing across AI agents
- Real-time development workflow automation
Project Management:
- Hierarchical project organization (Projects → Plans → Phases → Subsets → Tasks)
- GitHub and Jira integration for issue management
- Automated progress tracking and velocity calculations
- Team collaboration and knowledge management
Development Intelligence:
- Memory bank with semantic search capabilities
- Constraint pattern libraries and organizational learning
- Automated workflow orchestration
- Enterprise-grade security and multi-tenant architecture
Service Availability
Geographic Availability: The Service is available globally, subject to local laws and regulations.
Service Levels: We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the core platform, with scheduled maintenance windows communicated in advance.
Beta Features: Some features may be offered in beta or preview status, which may have different availability and support levels.
User Accounts and Registration
Account Creation
Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Registration Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.
Account Types: We offer individual developer accounts and organization accounts with multiple user roles and permissions.
Account Responsibilities
Account Security:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
- Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
- Log out of shared or public computers
Account Usage:
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Do not share account credentials with others
- Each user must have their own individual account
- Organization administrators are responsible for managing user access
Organization Accounts
Administrator Responsibilities:
- Manage user roles and permissions appropriately
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies
- Monitor and control access to sensitive project data
- Maintain accurate billing and subscription information
Multi-Tenant Security:
- Organization data is isolated using row-level security (RLS)
- Users can only access data within their authorized organizations
- Cross-organization data access is prohibited
Acceptable Use Policy
Permitted Uses
You may use Epic Scale AI Platform to:
- Coordinate AI development tools for software projects
- Manage development workflows and project planning
- Store and organize development-related documentation
- Collaborate with team members on software development projects
- Integrate with authorized third-party development tools
Prohibited Uses
You may not use Epic Scale AI Platform to:
Illegal Activities:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresent your identity
- Access or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization
- Circumvent security measures or attempt to disrupt the Service
Harmful Content:
- Upload, store, or share malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
- Distribute spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited communications
- Share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or violates third-party rights
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
Service Abuse:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use automated tools to extract data or overwhelm system resources
- Resell, redistribute, or create derivative works without authorization
- Interfere with other users' ability to access or use the Service
AI and Integration Misuse:
- Use AI integrations to generate harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content
- Attempt to extract or reverse engineer AI model parameters
- Misuse MCP server connections to access unauthorized systems
- Violate terms of service of integrated third-party AI tools
Payment Terms and Subscriptions
Subscription Plans
Plan Types: We offer various subscription plans with different features, usage limits, and pricing tiers.
Free Trial: New users may receive a free trial period (typically 7 days) to evaluate the Service.
Enterprise Plans: Custom enterprise plans are available with additional features, support, and service levels.
Billing and Payment
Payment Processing: All payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
Billing Cycles: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, as selected during signup.
Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and other payment methods supported by Stripe.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Refunds and Cancellations
Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Service Access: Cancelled subscriptions continue to provide service access until the end of the current billing period.
Refund Policy: We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused portions of annual subscriptions, except as required by law or in cases of service failure.
Account Data: After subscription cancellation, account data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
AI and MCP Integration Terms
AI Tool Coordination
MCP Server Operation: We provide MCP servers that facilitate communication between your AI development tools.
Constraint Intelligence: Our AI coordination systems analyze and share constraint patterns across your connected tools.
Data Processing: AI features may process your project data to provide intelligent recommendations and automation.
AI Content and Liability
Generated Content: AI tools integrated with our platform may generate code, documentation, or other content.
Content Review: You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use.
Accuracy Disclaimer: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
Legal Compliance: You must ensure that AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Limitation of Liability
Service Limitations
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Disclaimer: We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or absence of harmful components
Liability Limits
Damages: In no event shall Epic Scale Labs, LLC be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Statements or conduct of third parties on the Service
Maximum Liability:
Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
Termination by You
Account Deletion: You may terminate your account at any time through platform settings or by contacting support.
Subscription Cancellation: Paid subscriptions can be cancelled with continued service through the end of the billing period.
Data Retention: Account data is retained for 30 days after termination for potential account recovery.
Termination by Us
Cause for Termination: We may terminate accounts for:
- Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- Non-payment of subscription fees after appropriate notice
- Fraudulent activity or security violations
- Extended periods of inactivity (typically 2 years with notice)
